Paul has been producing mix tapes for as long as he can remember and music has always played a big role in his life. He first brought a pair of belt-drive decks when he was 16 years old and ever since his love of music and especially house music has never wavered.
DJing took a more serious turn in Paul's life whilst attending University, in Coventry, where he played in Clubs and Bars including the legendary ‘Planet’ and 'Generation's’. During this same period he also DJ’d in Kingston, London with his brother under the banner ‘Frix’ at ‘Options’ and ‘The Worx’. In his last year at University he DJ’d at the final ever ‘Phase’ on the final night of the ‘Planet’ before it was demolished, played for 'Progress' at 'Crazy Daisy's' and first taste of a radio studio with Sim Fox in the ‘Kix 96’ studio.
After finishing University, Paul started DJ’ing full time in his home town of Frome, Somerset quickly establishing a residency at ‘Bar 11’. He also continued to follow his new found love of playing on the radio which has led him to establishing a show every Monday evening, on the UKs longest running house music station, ‘Point Blank FM'. The success of his shows led to Paul playing at events across London and the South at venues such as Vanilla Windsor, Bed Bar Woking and Bamboo Fleet, Belushi's' Shepards Bush, Aruba and BarSo Bournemouth, Electric Brixton, The Clapham Grand and Ministry of Sound. Currently Paul can be found playing sets at his residencies in Thirteen Guildford, Twisted Monkey and Hydeout Watford.
The latest evolution of Paul’s love of music is in to production and he can often be found in his studio working on tracks like his latest release 'Not Too Late' on Ibiza based record label Karmaloft or his remix of Technotronic - Pump Up the Jam that has been played on BBC Introducing, check it out here -
